It updates the tablet with Experience 9.0 UI that brings you tons of new features. New UI (user interface design) version 9.0 can enhance your device’s performance in various means including typing. The update is appeared over OTA in UK and it is expected to hit more countries soon.

- Make sure battery of your device is charged.
- Create backup of your device (backup everything stored on phone including contacts, messages, and files). You can check this guide to create backup.
- Download Odin on your computer (the official Samsung firmware flasher).

Install Official Android 8.0 Firmware on Galaxy Tab S3
Step One: Download the Galaxy Tab S3 Android 8.0 firmware from here (This is UK firmware but you can flash on any Tab S3 with T825 model).
OS: Android 8.0.0 Oreo
Step Two: Extract the downloaded file into a folder on computer. You may use desktop to use that folder.
Step Three: Power off phone and boot it into download mode (boot pressing down Bixby + volume down + power buttons). Wait until your phone fully enter in download mode.
Step Four: Run the Odin on PC.
Step Five: Locate firmware files on Odin now. Press BL button to locate file starting with BL, then press AP button to locate its file, then CP, and HOME_CSC. Once files are loaded, go ahead.
Step Six: Hit start button and wait until installation is finished.
