Samsung is now pushing out the Galaxy J6 Android 9 update to users. Instead of Android 9 pie update for Galaxy J6, we should rather consider it a Samsung’s One UI update. The latest UI (user interface) can give its users a meaningful experience because of its cleanliness. It ruins bloatware in the favor of useful stuff. In order to explain this, I would like to say that this is feature-focus UI which keeps your attention on only useful features. With this update, you get impressive gesture navigations, new volume control settings design, new design for notifications and more.
What is a Galaxy J6? This is an affordable handset you can grab, if you are a serious fan of Samsung’s Infinity Display. It does offer you a compact design and some mid-range hardware. Samsung One UI update will offer some more decent features and here’s how to install it. You can flash it with OTA notification or use Odin to load it manually.
- Charge the battery of your phone.
- Create backup of your device (backup everything stored on phone including contacts, messages, and files). You can check this guide to create backup.
- Download Odin on your computer (the official Samsung firmware flasher) from here.
Disclaimer: This firmware is compatible with Galaxy J6 only. Please bear in mind that we will not be held responsible for whatever happen to your device giving a try to this guide. Perform everything at your own risk.
